High-impact new developments, revitalization of depressed commercial nodes, collaborative community programs, new residents moving in from outside the area, the entry of new businesses large and small — these all serve as catalysts for advancing the quality of life in Midtown.

Midtown Indy, Inc. enjoys partnerships with private and public organizations and community-based groups with the common goal to support creating a more sustainable Midtown district of Indianapolis. Only through nurturing existing and creating new partnerships will the district return to the walkable, sustainable and connected condition it was expertly designed to be nearly a century ago.

Midtown Economic Development Area: The Midtown Economic Council (MEC) works closely with neighborhood leaders and the City of Indianapolis to encourage a vibrant mixed-use business district along key commercial corridors and nodes (read more here).
