What a way to start 2018. NUVO, Indy’s alternative voice newspaper, has named the redevelopment efforts of Midtown Indy as #1 of “150 reasons why we love living in the Circle City.” The honor is equally earned by Indy Parks and Rec and Indianapolis Parks Foundation. Together, we’ve worked to bring Indy’s “best new playground to the now-verdant green of Tarkington Park,” according to the article.
Perhaps it helped that NUVO’s offices are in the heart of Midtown, right across the street from and in plain sight of Tarkington Park. However, we’re thrilled to see that the list of 150 includes many more Midtown-area organizations, and Midtown Indy partners and supporters, from Crown Hill to Newfields to Butler University.
