Midtown Indy Momentum Luncheon
Thank you to all speakers, sponsors, and attendees that helped make our annual Midtown Momentum Luncheon at Newfields this past August a fantastic success! The MML is a business luncheon focusing each year on a different aspect of what we at Midtown Indy Inc do. Our 2019 focus was on building equitable communities in real time. We heard discussion from community builders and advocates from right here in Indy about what approaches they’re finding worthwhile but also what initiatives haven’t worked. We also heard plenty of straightforward talk about the inequitable bases for why we must do this equity-focused community-building work today. Our play and panel presented an opportunity to shift from hypotheticals and academic lessons to planned practical work. We’ll be carrying these lessons and connections into our 2020 work and beyond. Thank you for joining us!
